Liberty London Hoarding
This has to be one of our favourite jobs to date. It’s such a good feeling to see our work installed and looking good in such an iconic location.
The Brief
Our client for this job was DBR Limited. They had the contract to do restoration work on the Liberty London building and contacted us to do help them brighten up the hoarding boards which covered all the scaffolding. Of course, we jumped at the chance to take on this challenge.
The Process
We went down to the site and conducted a thorough survey. This involved taking measurements, finding out site restrictions, and surveying issues like public safety due to being located on a busy high street. Once the survey was complete we starting printing back at the workshop. The printing consisted of digital print onto self-adhesive vinyl with an anti-graffiti laminate and then mounted onto composite hoarding board. This was all made in house, meaning we can keep production cost down and also produce it within the required time frame. The installation was carried out over 3 days by a 4 man team.
The Solution
The end result was a very impressive decorative hoarding. Using Liberty's own 'Carline Rose' pattern gives this hoarding a really stylish look and keeping it all within brand. The client was very happy with the end result and we then we also went on to produce the hoarding for Phase 2 of the construction project which ran over 70meters along Great Marlborough Street.
