Connexus Wayfinding Signage
Connexus Housing Group is a community-focused rural housing group with over 10,500 homes across Shropshire and Herefordshire. We have been working with them for many years, carrying out many different aspects of work
The Brief
Over the summer of 2022 Connexus were having a make over of their head office in Craven Arms. As part of the project we were tasked with planning, producing and installing all new wayfinding signage throughout the 3-floor building.
The Process
The initial stage was to undertake a site visit and speak to the Project Manager to understand the needs of the client and their aims for the signage. Once this had been carried out, we used the client's brand guidelines to design and plan the wayfinding signage throughout. All the signs were plotted onto a floor plan with reference codes to make for easy understanding for the client and also our install team. Once the designs were finalised we produced all the signage and installed over a 3 day period.
The Solution
We used a signage system called MSS. The system uses a sliding slat design so all signage can be changed with ease, simply sliding out the individual slat that needs changing. There were various types of MSS used, from Directory wall signs, and ceiling hanging signs to projecting information signs. All of the signage was powder coated to the client's brand Pantone colours and printed.
